The present invention relates to a layered insulator for heat reflection and flame resistance which is a construction material and a manufacturing method thereof. The manufacturing method of a layered insulator for heat reflection and flame resistance comprises: (A) a step of preparing a flame resistant adhesive wherein illite powder is mixed with a vinyl-based resin or a urethane-based resin; (B) a step of preparing a plurality of Styrofoam boards and metal plates of a prescribed thickness, and coating the flame resistant adhesive on the Styrofoam boards or the metal plates; (C) a step of layering the Styrofoam boards and the metal plates to interpose the metal plates between the Styrofoam boards, and affixing the Styrofoam boards and the metal plates to each other using the flame resistant adhesive as a joining medium to layer and join the Styrofoam boards and the metal plates in a multi-layered structure; and (D) a step of compressing a resultant material which has undergone the (C) step at a room temperature. Accordingly, a layered insulator for heat reflection and flame resistance comprising two or more layered Styrofoam boards, metal plates interposed between the Styrofoam boards, and a flame resistant adhesive layer formed by a flame resistant adhesive which is used as a joining medium for affixing the Styrofoam boards and the metal plates to each other and has a flame resistant property can be manufactured. |
