PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suppress the temperature difference in the width direction of a recording medium, in a configuration in which conveyance means for the recording medium and a guide member for the recording medium are provided on the upstream side from fixing means in the conveyance direction of the recording medium and a fixing member protrudes to the side of the conveyance means.SOLUTION: The structure 100 of a fixing part includes a conveyance part 80, a guide member 125, a fixing device 110 where the fixing belt 112 protrudes to the sides of conveyance belts 81A and 81B, and a heat shielding member 123 provided on the upstream side from the guide member 125 in the conveyance direction of a recording paper P. Since heat going from the fixing belt 112 to the conveyance part 80 is shielded by the heat shielding member 123, the temperature rise of the conveyance belts 81A and 81B whose widths are smaller than that of the recording paper P is suppressed. The guide member 125 almost uniformly heats the recording paper P in the width direction. Thus, the temperature difference in the width direction of the recording paper P can be suppressed. |
