A method for operating an electronic device having a wraparound display, the method comprising receiving a first signal indicating a first rotational direction; rotating a list of items displayed on the wraparound display with respect to the wraparound display in the indicated first rotational direction at a first speed responsive to the first signal; receiving a second signal after the first signal, the second signal indicating a second rotational direction; and increasing the first speed if the second rotational direction is same as the first rotational direction and decreasing the first speed, if the second rotational direction is different from the first rotational direction.
