The present invention relates to a gear grinder, capable of very precisely processing a gear by using an automatic meshing device and various grinding wheels. The gear grinder comprises: a workpiece rotating bar rotating a workpiece, placed around a line of a Z direction as the central axis, around the axis; a grinding wheel control unit moving in X,Y, and Y directions to process the workpiece, and enabling a grinding wheel to rotate around a line parallel with a line on an Y-Z plane; a disc-shaped dresser moving from the grinding wheel control unit in the Z direction, and rotating around a line of the Y direction to dress left and right flanks of the grinding wheel; a meshing device measuring a processing state of the workpiece by approaching the workpiece; and an NC device controlling the workpiece rotating bar, the grinding wheel control unit, the dresser, and the meshing device. |
