The present invention relates to a battery protection circuit module which is capable of efficiently preventing an overcurrent and overheating and being compactly implemented at low costs. The battery protection circuit module comprises: a first terminal and a second terminal, which are electrically connected to an electrode cell of a battery bare cell; a third terminal and a fourth terminal, which are electrically connected to a charger or an electronic device; a first protection circuit unit which includes at least one first transistor connected between at least one of the first terminal and the second terminal and at least one of the third terminal and the fourth terminal and a first protection integrated circuit element for controlling the at least one first transistor; and a second protection circuit unit which includes at least one second transistor connected between at least one of the first terminal and the second terminal and at least one of the third terminal and the fourth terminal and connected in series to the first transistor and a second protection integrated circuit element for controlling the second transistor.
