The present invention relates to an apparatus and a method for accumulating a point. According to a first aspect of the present invention, the apparatus for accumulating the point comprises: a starting point supplying unit for supplying a starting point to a first user according to the setting of the first user; an accumulation point monitoring unit for monitoring the accumulation point of the first user; and a usage right granting unit for granting a usage right for the accumulation point to the first user when the monitored accumulation point reaches a usage condition point determined according to the starting point. The present invention allows a user to consistently use the apparatus for accumulating the point.
