PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To avoid use of a wheel tip having the possibility of causing product failures.SOLUTION: A scribe treatment system scribes a brittle material substrate by relatively moving a scribe head to the brittle material substrate while bringing a wheel tip into contact with the brittle material substrate, and includes: a restoration means for restoring a control number of the wheel tip by using a code printed on a tip holder; a use history data holding means for holding a history of collision frequencies of the wheel tip with the brittle material substrate when the brittle material substrate has been scribed; and a recipe data holding means for holding recipe data in each of which scribe treatment contents, the collision frequencies and an exchange recommendation value are described. The scribe treatment according with one of the recipe data selected through an input means is performed by using the code-read wheel tip. When an integrated value of the collision frequencies exceeds the exchange recommendation value, it is reported that the wheel tip is in an exchange-recommended state. |
