PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a video display device capable of reducing influence of external light and suppressing degradation of display characteristics due to rainfall.SOLUTION: A louver 3 provided in a video display device 1 includes eaves parts 3a each which protrude frontward from nearly flat plate-shaped front surface, and surround partially a circumference of an opening 2a for exposing a display device, extending from the circumference of the opening 2a to the outside. Further, the plurality of openings 2a are arranged in a matrix form, and an intermediate light shielding plate 3b is provided at the position intermediate between four of the openings 2a arranged in two rows and two columns in the louver 3 respectively. The eaves parts 3a of the louver 3 each include an arc-shaped eaves part 3aa formed along the upper part of the circumference of the openings 2a in an arcuate upward-projecting form and a protrusion 3ab formed in an upward-protruding manner from the top of the arc-shaped eaves part 3aa. |
