PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rubber composition capable of improving high mileage property, wet grip performance and wear resistance in a good balance, and to provide a pneumatic tire using the composition.SOLUTION: The rubber composition comprises: a conjugate diene polymer (A) obtained by reacting an alkoxysilane compound to an active terminal of a polymer obtained by polymerizing a conjugate diene, a compound of formula (1) and a compound of formula (2) by using an aminoalkyl lithium initiator; and silica. The content of the silica is 5 to 150 parts by mass with respect to 100 parts by mass of a rubber component. |
