PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a bis(meth)acryloyl-terminated benzyl ether compound having high level dielectric property (low dielectric constant and low dielectric dissipation factor) and useful for a curable resin composition providing a cured article having high glass transfer temperature and fire resistance, and to provide its manufacturing method and an aromatic bis halomethyl compound as an intermediate thereof.SOLUTION: Aromatic bis halomethyl and a bisphenol fluorene compound are reacted to obtain an aromatic bis halomethyl compound having halomethyl groups at both terminals as an intermediate, and then the intermediate and a (meth)acrylic compound such as (meth)acrylic acid and potassium (meth)acrylate are reacted to change the halomethyl groups at both terminals to (meth)acryloyl groups and obtain a (bis)acryloyl-terminated benzyl ether compound. |
