The present invention relates to a smart attendance checking system and a smart attendance checking method using beacon broadcasting and, more specifically, to a smart attendance checking system and a smart attendance checking method using beacon signal broadcasting, capable of easily and accurately checking attendance during a class. The smart attendance checking system using beacon broadcasting according to the present invention comprises: multiple student mobile terminals for forcibly executing a Bluetooth module for an attendance response, and forcibly terminating the Bluetooth module if a preset attendance checking time expires; an attendance checking server for previously storing the terminal information of the student mobile terminals, and transmitting a push notification to the student mobile terminals so that the Bluetooth module can be executed when attendance checking starts; and a professor mobile terminal for receiving and displaying information on the student mobile terminals by accessing the attendance checking server, transmitting a push command to the attendance checking server according to the input of an attendance checking start button, and broadcasting beacon signals to the student mobile terminals during the attendance checking time by executing a beacon mode. The attendance checking server transmits an attendance confirming message for confirming the attendance to the student mobile terminals, and transmits reception information to the attendance checking server if the student mobile terminals receive an attendance confirming message and search for and receive the beacon signals. Then, the attendance checking server generates attendance checking information and sends back the information to the professor mobile terminal. |
