The present invention relates to a 3D printer. According to an embodiment of the present invention, the 3D printer comprises: a filament cartridge for supplying filaments; an extrusion unit for extruding the filaments supplied from the filament cartridge to the inside of a cavity; an interface unit for receiving the filament-related information from the filament cartridge; and a processor for determining whether to perform the 3D printing, on the bases of information of the residual amount of cartridge of the filament-related information, and the predicted amount of filaments for producing sculpture. Accordingly, the 3D printer enables the active printing by considering the residual amount of the cartridge. |
