The present invention relates to a smart wastebasket killing insects and informing a user of a remaining available space. The smart wastebasket includes: a case which is thin and has a beaten silver film of an electrode terminal function on both sides across an insulation unit on a tinfoil, wherein an UV lamp is formed on the beaten silver film and the case protects a sterilization unit; a control unit having the sterilization unit at a groove formed in a predetermined shape and including the case to install a battery applying power to the sterilization unit, wherein the control unit controls light emitted by the sterilization unit; a fixing unit fixing the case in order for the case to be fixed to an outer surface of the wastebasket; and a fixing piece formed in an O-shape and having a screw on one side to be installed in the wastebasket using a nut by the fixing unit. The smart wastebasket can sterilize the insects using the UV lamp and can display the remaining available space of the wastebasket using a sensor. |
