A discrimination system being a system that discriminates the operation states of an electric device connected to a power grid capable of supplying and receiving power from a plurality of power supplies. The discrimination system comprises a measurement device (110) and an information collection device (120). The measurement device (110) obtains information about the power supplied to the power grid, for each of the plurality of power supplies, and also identifies a power supply that supplies power fulfilling pre-set standards, on the basis of the obtained power information. The measurement device (110) then obtains a waveform for a current that flows to the power grid from the identified power supply, as a current waveform to be sent to the information collection device (120). The measurement device (110) sends waveform information generated on the basis of the obtained current waveform, to the information collection device (120). The information collection device (120) obtains the waveform information sent by the measurement device (110) and discriminates the operation state of the electric device (400) connected to the power grid, on the basis of the obtained waveform information. |
