PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To accurately inspect a cause of reduction in electromagnetic wave irradiance level of an irradiation part.SOLUTION: An image recording apparatus includes: a nozzle for discharging an electromagnetic-wave curing type ink to a recording medium, in which the ink is irradiated with an electromagnetic wave to be cured; the irradiation part for irradiating with the electromagnetic wave and including a filter transmitting the electromagnetic wave; a sensor for inspecting a degree of dirt of the filter and positioned in a non-image recording region when the nozzle discharges the electromagnetic-wave curing type ink to the recording medium; and a control part for inspecting the degree of the dirt of the filter on the basis of a result detected by the sensor. |
