A drum head 3 includes an inner skin 12 provided inside an edge portion of an opening of a body. The inner skin 12 has an outer region 12A formed with a plurality of openings 15 arranged in a circumferential direction of the inner skin 12. An inner end portion of each of the openings 15 in a radial direction of the inner skin 12 in plan view protrudes and tapers inward in the radial direction. With this construction, sustain can be brought closer to that of common drum heads to obtain tone color closer to that of the common drum heads, with reduction in volume of sound produced by strike. |
