Methods for obtaining a sample from a subject include providing a sample collection device having a novelty exterior. The sample collection device can be used to collection liquid sample such as but not limited to blood, capillary blood, interstitial fluid, or other liquid sample. Samples may be provide by a small wound such as by a finger-stick and the sample may be analyzed in a short period of time, e.g., in less than five hours, or less than four hours. |
