The present invention relates to a composition which includes: (a) at least one of polyalkylene terephthalate or polycycloalkylene terephthalate; and (b) at least one of an organic phosphinic acid salt and/or at least one of an organic diphosphonic acid salt and at least one of an inorganic phosphate salt. The present invention further relates to a thermoplastic molding mixture which can be produced by the composition, and to a product containing the same as a base material.
