The present invention relates to a producing method of dimethylolpropionic acid modified aqueous phenolic resin comprising: a first step of obtaining a first product by mixing linseed oil and maleic anhydride at room temperature, heating the same, and keeping the same for 7 to 9 hours; a second step of mixing tung oil, polyol, and potassium hydroxide, heating the same, and maintaining the same for 1 to 1.5 hours; a third step of a second product by cooling a product obtained by the second step, adding phthalic anhydride, dimethylolpropionic acid, and benzoic acid, heating xylene while refluxing the same and maintaining the same for 0.5 to 1.5 hours, and heating and maintaining the same for 6 to hours; and a fourth step of mixing butyl ether, n-butanol, and the first product, adding the second product, and obtaining an aqueous phenolic resin through a mixture having pH of 8.5 to 9 by adding an amine neutralizing agent when the temperature is decreased to 95 to 105C. The aqueous phenolic resin does not have benzene and decreases VOC discharge. |
