The present invention relates to an electrode and a manufacturing method thereof and, more specifically, relates to an electrode having a fiber shape a multilayer structure without the twist, wherein carbon nanotube sheets are bound to each other to be formed. The multilayer structure is formed by the surface tension of an enzymatic solution in a process of immersing the carbon nanotube sheet in a solution including hydrophilic enzyme and drying the same. The carbon nanotube sheet is coated with a conductive polymer, and is carried by adsorbing enzyme inside the multilayer structure of the carbon nanotube.
