Provided is a slot extrusion coating method comprising the following steps: obtaining a substrate; obtaining a slit coater; preparing a composition which includes acid dianhydride or a mixture of acid dianhydride and a reactive carbonyl compound, and a condensation polymerization product of diamine, an imidized product of the condensation polymerization product, or a mixture thereof, while having viscosity suitable for the slit coater at room temperature, and of which a maximum value of tan of the composition under a condition involving 1% strain and angular frequency of 0-10 rad/s exclusive is adjusted to be less than 96; and coating the composition on the substrate using the slit coater.
