PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To further reduce the diameter of an insert part.SOLUTION: An objective optical system 71 and an image transmission optical system 211 form an optical image from a main view point, that is a first view point, and optical images from one or more secondary view points on a common focal plane. Mechanical shutters 72 open and close the respective optical paths of the secondary view points. An image pick-up element 2a picks up an optical image formed on the focal plane and outputs an imaging signal. A CPU closes all the mechanical shutters 72 to generate a main view point image from the imaging signal output by the image pick-up element 2a at this point, and then opens one of the mechanical shutters 72 to generate a stereo superimposition image from the imaging signal output by the image pick-up element 2a at this point. The CPU uses the main view point image to generate secondary view point images corresponding to the imaging signals of the optical images from the respective secondary view points from the stereo superimposition image, and uses the main view point image and the secondary view point images to calculate three-dimensional coordinates of a subject based on a principle of triangulation. |
