PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a lead storage battery with one kind of lid capable of dealing with positioning of two or more types of terminals prepared in advance having different shapes.SOLUTION: An electrode pole 3 is inserted in a through hole 2 provided in a lid 1 of a battery jar, and the electrode pole 3 projects inside a depressed part 4 opened to an upper surface of the lid 1. In the lead storage battery, a fitting hole 5c formed in a fitting part 5b of a terminal is fitted to an upper end of the electrode pole 3, and the upper end of the electrode pole 3 and the fitting part 5b of the terminal are connected, and an obturation agent 6 is filled inside the depressed part 4. Two or more types of terminals 5a which have different shapes are prepared in advance 5a' for the lead storage battery which has one kind of main body, and in the inside of the depressed part 4, a positioning member 8 which inhibits the terminals with the electrode pole 3 as an axis from rotating in at least one direction while being abutted to an outer periphery of each of the terminals when the terminals 5a and 5a' are located at a prescribed position while the upper end of electrode pole 3 and the fitting hole 5c are fitted to each other, is provided correspondingly to each of the shapes of two or more types of terminals. |
