PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a road maintenance vehicle which goes to a disaster-stricken district and the like to supply emergency power when not used.SOLUTION: A road maintenance vehicle includes: a road maintenance part having functions required for road maintenance; a traveling engine 4 used for traveling the vehicle; and an emergency power generator 11 generating electricity using power brought out from the traveling engine 4. The traveling engine 4 includes a power take-off 6 attached to a transmission 5. The emergency power generator 11 generates electricity using rotational power obtained from the power take-off 6. The road maintenance vehicle includes a universal joint 7 for transmitting the rotational power from the power take-off 6, and pulleys 9, 12 and a V belt 10 mounted to the universal joint 7. The emergency power generator 11 generates electricity using rotational power transmitted from the pulleys 9, 12 and the V belt 10. |
