According to the present invention, a damping force variable valve assembly installed in a damping force variable shock absorber having the same comprises: a spool which is movable in a forward direction facing the shock absorber and in a backward direction opposite to the forward direction in accordance with the formation of magnetic force of a solenoid; a spool guide which encloses an outer side of the spool to forwardly and backwardly guide the spool; a valve body which encloses an outer side of the spool guide; a main valve installed in the rear of a main oil path formed in the valve body; a back pressure chamber which is designed to have a back pressure to pressurize the main valve at the rear of the main valve; a chamber forming body which encloses an outer side of the valve body to form the back pressure chamber; and a low speed valve which is installed to cover a low speed oil path formed in the valve body and generates damping force. The main valve comprises: a valve disc installed in a state of covering the rear of the main oil path at the rear of the valve body; and a retainer which is installed in the back pressure chamber, supports the rear of the valve disc by the bearing capacity of an elastic member, and a side of which is movably installed in an opening and a closing direction of the main oil path in a state of being closely attached to the inner circumferential surface of the back pressure chamber. |
