PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To omit a drying step by melting a material resin, cooling/solidifying an extruded strand with a water cooling block, sending the strand to a next cutting device by a conveying device, pelletizing the strand and preventing the obtained pellet from being in direct contact with water, to reduce an installation space, to eliminate noise by simplifying a structure of the water cooling block and to reduce running cost by using water as a cooling medium.SOLUTION: In a resin pelletization device 1, a strand S extruded from a nozzle 15 of a resin melting device 14 is mounted on a strand mounting surface 111a of a water cooling block 111. The molten strand S is in contact with the strand mounting surface and quickly forms a hard coating, a portion that is not in contact with the strand mounting surface is also cooled by air, a coating is formed on a surface and solidification is started as a whole. The strand S is slid down along the strand mounting surface of the water cooling block and guided/cooled/conveyed by a cutting device 16 while being in contact with a belt 121 of a mesh structure of a conveying device 12.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 |
