PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an attenuation unit capable of obtaining a desired insertion speed dependency characteristic with simple structure means, and having a low product unit price and high reliability.SOLUTION: An attenuation unit includes: a cylinder 14 that is filled with attenuation liquid, and that is connected to a bottom surface part extended between a piston rod 12 and an inner wall 14c of the cylinder 14, the bottom surface part having at least one open hole 28a for defining an effective flow section of the attenuation liquid; a stopper 22 that is fixed in an immovable manner in an axial direction on the piston rod 12, and defines a front surface 22b on the insertion direction front side of the piston rod 12; a piston bottom member 28 that is supported on the piston rod 12 so as to be slidable in the axial direction, and contains the bottom surface part; and an elastic member that energizes the piston bottom member 28 with the piston rod 12 as a reference point.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3 |
