Rubber mixture comprises (a) a rubber, (b) a sulfur-containing alkoxysilane, (c) a silicic acid-based filler, and (d) omega -mercapto-carboxylic acid ester having 2-6 carbon atoms, of a polyhydric alcohol having 2-6 carbon atoms. At least 33%, preferably at least 75% of at least two hydroxy groups of the polyhydric alcohol having 2-6 carbon atoms, are esterified with omega -mercapto-carboxylic acid having 2-6 carbon atoms. Independent claims are also included for: (1) preparing the rubber mixture, comprising mixing the component (a) with components (c), (b) and (d), preferably carrying out a multi-step mixing, in which the component (d) is added in the first step, and at least one crosslinker is added in a subsequent step; (2) producing vulcanizates, comprising vulcanizing the rubber mixture at a melt temperature of 100-200[deg] C, preferably 130-180[deg] C; and (3) vulcanizates, preferably tires and tire components, obtainable by vulcanizing the rubber mixture. |
