[Class 113 (i)] A torpedo screen for a ship comprises rotatable groups of spaced bow-shaped wires or like flexible members 9, 10 carried by screws 8 and rotated by the action of the ship's movement. The wires may rotate at the same or different speeds and in the same or opposite directions, and they may be connected by switch 7 and eyes 6 to wires 4 carried by guyed booms 1 and controlled by winches 5. |
