PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To report existence of a camera image from a viewpoint close to a viewpoint of an arbitrary viewpoint image being viewed.SOLUTION: An image processing apparatus comprises: image data acquisition means for acquiring arbitrary viewpoint image data from an arbitrary viewpoint designated by a user, the arbitrary viewpoint image data having been generated on the basis of a plurality of pieces of image data from different viewpoints; output means for outputting, to a display unit, the arbitrary viewpoint image data acquired by the image data acquisition means; and reporting means for reporting to the user according to degree of coincidence between first viewpoint information on images of the plurality of pieces of image data from the different viewpoints and second viewpoint information on images of the arbitrary viewpoint image data. |
