PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an IPS type liquid crystal display device without increasing the number of processes and excellent in display quality.SOLUTION: A liquid crystal display device including a display for displaying a regular character or pattern comprises: a liquid crystal layer; a first substrate and a second substrate arranged to be opposite through the liquid crystal layer; a first electrode 13 and a second electrode 14 having a plurality of electrode branches, respectively, provided on one surface side of the first substrate and defining a display; a first drawing wiring provided on the one surface side of the first substrate and connected with the first electrode; a second drawing wiring 24 provided on the one surface side of the first substrate and connected with the second electrode; and a crossover wiring arranged to be crossed in the display and connecting between the plurality of electrode branches of the first electrode 13 and the first drawing wiring and/or between the plurality of electrode branches of the second electrode 14 and the second drawing wiring 24. |
