PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a water pump device capable of water-cooling also an exhaust pipe.SOLUTION: In a water pump device 1, a pump mechanism 5 is driven by a water-cooled engine 2 equipped with a radiator 51 and discharges sucked water. The water pump device has a flow passage 57 by which water taken in from the inside of a water suction and discharge passage 9 of the pump mechanism is returned to the water suction and discharge passage 9 again, and the flow passage is provided with a radiator cooling part 58, a muffler cooling part 59 and an exhaust pipe cooling part 60. The radiator cooling part, the muffler cooling part and the exhaust pipe cooling part are arranged each having height differences from the others, and as for a water inlet 66, 85, 104 and a water outlet 67, 86, 105 of each of the radiator cooling part, the muffler cooling part and the exhaust pipe cooling part, the water outlet is arranged at a higher position as compared with the water inlet. Water taken in from the water suction and discharge passage is let flow successively in the radiator cooling part, the muffler cooling part and the exhaust pipe cooling part in lower-to-higher order of their arranged positions. |
