Provided is a body water content meter in which the water content inside the body of a subject is measured by bringing a sensor unit into contact with the body surface of the subject. The body water content meter comprises: a water content detection unit that is arranged on the contact surface of the sensor unit and that detects water content by measuring the capacitance of the body surface of the subject; a determination unit that determines the nutritional state of the subject on the basis of the body mass index of the subject and the water content detected by the water content detection unit; and a notification unit that reports the nutritional state determined by the determination unit. |
