摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make stages of processing a screw rotor with an odd number of rotor teeth simple and low-cost, and to reduce material costs.SOLUTION: Processing (first stage) on a journal shaft part 20, 22 and tooth cutting processing (second stage) on a rotor tooth formation region 12 are performed first. After the journal shaft parts are hardened, finish processing (third stage) on the journal shaft part and finish processing (fourth stage) on rotor teeth 14 are performed. The tooth cutting rough processing on the rotor teeth 14 is performed in an early stage after the processing on the journal shaft part, so that the journal shaft part can be hardened. A measuring device 30 can measure the diameter of an outer peripheral surface (reference surface) of the journal shaft part from relative positions of the outer peripheral surface (reference surfaces) of the journal shaft part and an outer peripheral surface of the rotor teeth 14, so that the rotor teeth 14 can be processed with high precision.
