The purpose of the invention is to limit the decrease in image quality in sequences of short echo time (TE). The gradient field application time necessary to achieve the purpose is determined and the echo signal (k-space data) acquisition rate is set accordingly. To be specific, magnetic resonance imaging equipment, which is equipped with a control unit for controlling the measurement of echo signals according to a pulse sequence, is provided, the magnetic resonance imaging equipment being characterized in that the control unit is equipped with a data acquisition rate-determining unit, which optimizes the k-space data acquisition rate based on imaging conditions, and a sequence-generating unit, which generates the pulse sequence according to the imaging conditions and the data acquisition rate determined by the data acquisition rate-determining unit. |
