The present invention relates to the field of medicine. It relates more particularly to the use of compounds to prevent and/or treat lipotoxicity in a subject, especially lipotoxicity by hypoxia. The invention relates more particularly to compositions, especially pharmaceuticals compositions and nutritional supplements or complements comprising such compounds as well as their use to prevent and/or treat lipotoxicity, especially lipotoxicity by hypoxia.
