Solid bowl worm centrifuge with a weir edge

The solid bowl screw-type centrifuge has a centrifuge drum (10) rotatable around a longitudinal axis. The centrifuge drum has an outlet opening (16) for discharging of clear material from the centrifuge drum by a weir edge (26) and an outlet channel for conveying the entire material. The weir edge is arranged at the front side of the centrifuge drum and the outlet channel extends in flow direction behind the weir edge. The outlet channel has a base surface which is designed partially flat. The flat section of the base surface is inclined radially inward to tangential direction.
