PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To estimate a crank angle at a given timing between signals when generated by a crank angle sensor.SOLUTION: First and second cylinder pressures of crank angle synchronization and a third cylinder pressure of time synchronization are acquired. The first cylinder pressure is a cylinder pressure at a first timing as a timing when a signal is currently generated by the crank angle sensor, the second cylinder pressure is a cylinder pressure at a second timing as a timing when a signal is generated by the crank angle sensor before the first timing, and the third cylinder pressure is a cylinder pressure at a third timing as a given timing after the first timing. A crank angle at the third timing is calculated on the basis of a crank angle change amount in a period from the second timing to the first timing, and the first cylinder pressure, the second cylinder pressure and the third cylinder pressure. |
