PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a mounting structure for display unit, which is capable of ensuring support rigidity to resist a load when an occupant grabs the display unit which is uprightly mounted on an instrument panel.SOLUTION: A mounting structure for display unit comprises a connection member 24 provided to the back of a display device 21 and a bezel body 23 which forms a continuous surface with a surface of an instrument panel 1 (instrument panel body 4). The lower end part of the connection member 24 is fixed to a center part of the bezel body 23 in a vehicle longitudinal direction, and the bezel body 23 is provided with a concave part 23c having a contact surface (back surface 23e) for contacting with the back of the display device 21, with an upright mounting part 24a of the connection member 24 being fixed to the back surface 23e. The concave part 23c is engaged with a peripheral edge of an instrument panel opening 4a by a part corresponding to a front bottom part of the display device 21 and by the reverse part of the back surface 23e. |
