PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a valve gear for an internal combustion engine capable of reducing partial abrasion between a rocker arm and a rocker shaft.SOLUTION: A valve gear 1 includes: a rocker shaft 10 having an outer shaft 11 cylindrically formed, and an inner shaft 12 inserted into an inside of the outer shaft 11 and rotatably supporting the outer shaft 11 around an axis; a pair of rocker arms 20 rotatably attached to the outer shaft 11 around the axis; a cam 30 for rocking the rocker arm 20 while using the rocker shaft 10 as a fulcrum; and a valve 40 opened and closed in accordance with rocking of the rocker arm 20. The outer shaft 11 corotates by interlocking with rocking of the rocker arm 20, and sliding of the inner shaft 12 with the outer shaft 11, and the outer shaft with the rocker arm 20 always at the same places can be avoided, and partial abrasion can be avoided. |
