The invention relates to a method for producing a multilayered security element, a security element obtainable according to the method according to the invention, a transfer material, a security paper and a valuable article comprising such a security element, and a method for producing such a security paper or valuable article. A multilayered security element (10) according to the invention for viewing in reflected light and transmitted light exhibits a transmitted-light view (DL) when viewed in transmitted light and a first reflected-light view (AL1) and a second reflected-light view (AL2), respectively, from opposite sides in reflected light. The security element comprises a transparent or translucent carrier film (40) having a top side (42) and an opposite underside (44), an embossed and metallized first diffraction structure (46, 48, 50) arranged on the top side (42) of the carrier film (40), said first diffraction structure producing the first reflected-light view (AL1) and being embodied in the form of a pattern (60) corresponding to the transmitted-light view (DL), a lacquer layer (52) present in the form of the pattern (60) corresponding to the transmitted-light view on the embossed and metallized first diffraction structure, and an embossed and metallized second diffraction structure (54, 56) present in the form of the pattern (60) corresponding to the transmitted-light view on the lacquer layer (52), said second diffraction structure producing the second reflected-light view (AL2). |
