Binding for a boot on a glide board

The binding has a front retaining device (11u) supporting an upper abutment surface in contact with an upper surface of a front portion of a boot. A lower abutment surface (121) is connected to the device so as to define engagement height for the boot corresponding to difference in height between the abutment surfaces. A rigid vertical spacer is arranged in relation to the device and the lower surface, so that adjustment height of the spacer enables modification of the engagement height. The spacer is directly affixed to the device to modify a vertical position of the upper surface.
