摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a battery cooling structure which can suppress spread of damage of fire even when the battery is ignited, in an air-cooled battery pack cooling structure.SOLUTION: A battery pack 1 consisting of a plurality of single cells 11 is housed in a housing 2 provided with a suction port 22 for introducing the cooling air thereinto and an exhaust port 21 for exhausting the cooling air, and the battery pack is cooled by the cooling air. The single cell 11 is a lithium ion secondary battery or a nickel-hydrogen secondary battery. A fireproof closing member 3, which expands with heat upon occurence of fire and closes the suction port or exhaust port, is provided at the suction port 22 or exhaust port 21. The fireproof closing member 3 is composed of a thermal expansion fireproof resin material containing an expansion material having an expansion start temperature of 270°C or lower.
