PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a damper capable of improving a feeling of operation by more reducing torque variation following generation of frictional force and its stop.SOLUTION: A damper 1 includes: a body member 10 forming a storage chamber 19 in its inside and fixed on a business machine body; a cam member 20 coupled with a cover rotatably coupled with the business machine body; a rotary shaft member 30 for rotatably coupling the cam member 20 with the body member 10; a slide member 40 movably stored in the storage chamber 19; and an energization member 50 for applying energization force to the slide member 40. A first abutting face 48a abutting on an inner peripheral surface of the storage chamber 19 in the whole moving range of the slide member 40 to the body member 10 to generate frictional force and a second abutting face 49a abutting on the inner peripheral surface of the storage chamber 19 on a part of the moving range of the slide member 40 to the body member 10 to generate frictional force are formed on the slide member 40. |
