PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To produce high forgery-prevention effect by obtaining two types of latent image, thereby making forgery and interpolation difficult.SOLUTION: A transfer foil 1 comprises a support base material 4 in the form of a flat thin film plate; a first phase difference layers 2 and a second phase difference layer 3 of different optical axes, which are arranged in the same plane, which is one of the sides of the support base material, and which are arranged alternately along a predetermined direction; and an adhesion layer 6 formed on the upper sides of the first and second phase difference layers 2 and 3. A negative image in which original data for personal authentication is binary processed is used as a first image and a positive image is used as a second image. The first image is thermally transferred using the first phase difference layer 2, and the second image is thermally formed by the second phase difference layer 3. |
