PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a display device having a touch detection function that can stably operate even in a touch detection period, and a memory circuit.SOLUTION: A display device includes: plural display elements PX that perform display operation on the basis of a pixel signal and a display drive signal; a touch detection element that detects the approach of an external object on the basis of a touch detection drive signal; a scanning line drive circuit VD that successively supplies the pixel signal and the display drive signal to the plural display elements in a time division manner to perform a display operation; and a touch drive circuit TD that supplies the touch detection drive signal to the touch detection element. The touch drive circuit supplies a touch detection drive signal VCOMAC to the touch detection element in a touch detection operation period different from a display operation period in which display scanning is performed. The scanning line drive circuit uses the touch detection drive signal as a drive circuit operation stabilization signal in a touch detection period. |
