摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a power conversion device utilizing a configuration of a power conversion device for a three-phase AC to deal with a high-frequency single-phase load and enhancing the cooling efficiency of a switching element.SOLUTION: A power conversion device 110 comprises an inverse conversion unit 113 having switching element arms of three phases and converting a DC power into an AC power. The power conversion device 110 is configured so that outputs of the switching element arms of arbitrary two circuits in the switching element arms are commonly connected and defined as one AC output terminal A, and an output of the switching element arm of the remaining one circuit is defined as the other AC output terminal B, and then, the respective switching elements of the two circuits are independently conduction-controlled, and a single-phase AC is generated between the one and the other AC output terminals. In the power conversion device 110, the switching element arm generating a pulse with smaller generation loss is placed at a location where it is the most difficult to be cooled among installation locations for the switching element arms of the two circuits.
