PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a hybrid vehicle control device capable of improving drivability by generating an engine output in accordance with required drive force at a load-required engine start.SOLUTION: A hybrid vehicle control device performs: starting an engine itself responsively to a start operation performed for enabling a hybrid vehicle to travel when the engine is hot, and inhibiting intermittent stops of the engine itself; continuing the inhibition of intermittent stops of the engine until pressure of fuel rises to required pressure necessary for a load-required start of the engine itself and stabilizes there; locking a shift selector so as not to be shifted from a parking range to another range when the engine itself is started responsively to a start operation; and releasing the lock of the shift selector when the pressure of fuel rises to the required pressure and stabilizes there. |
