PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a component mounting device capable of preventing the work efficiency from lowering by preventing occurrence of overrun, and to provide a circuit board transfer method in the component mounting device.SOLUTION: When the front end of a circuit board 2 reaches the deceleration start position of a circuit board transfer mechanism 30 adjacent on the downstream side, and the transfer speed of the circuit board 2 is lowered to a second speed, after each circuit board transfer mechanism 30 resumed transfer of the circuit board 2 before the rear end thereof is detected by a second sensor S2 provided at the end of the circuit board 2 on the feeding side, a controller 40 is actuated to perform transfer of the circuit board 2 in synchronism with other circuit board transfer mechanism 30 adjacent on the downstream side, until the rear end of the circuit board 2 is detected by the second sensor S2. |
