PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a variable time setting method which can be applied to Pachinko game machines having only one type of special symbol and reduces ROM capacity of a main control device.SOLUTION: A conventional variable time data table has values of two bytes for variable times of one variable pattern, respectively. In a Pachinko game machine, variable pattern data are constituted of one byte, and setting counter values corresponding to each bit of the one byte are stored in a time constant table (shown in the figure). The variable time is calculated by adding setting counter values corresponding to bits where "1" is set in the variable pattern data, thereby reducing data volume of the variable time. Alternatively, even in a model having only one type of special symbol, the ROM capacity of a main control device can be reduced. |
